Art is my door into myself, my true self. All that goes into my art becomes a part of me–from the search for old photos and paper ephemera to the final composition, the choices of colors, and the painting. I have always had art in my life, was an art history major at UCLA, and have loved to collect over the years an eclectic mix of painting, photography, and ceramics. Recently my art has become a way to heal from the loss of my home and much of my collection in a brushfire. I work small. I like small. My studio is tiny but a treasured part of my new home.
